After having my 2nd child, I found it much harder to reclaim my body. Weight I had lost easily after my first pregnancy was stubbornly holding on, and I was sluggish and weak after almost 3 years of inconsistent exercise.
As a former dancer and gymnast, the bar method caught my eye and I decided to try the community classes. I have never been so sore in my entire life, but after 1 week I was hooked. 12 classes later I was down a pant size, and now one month into 4-5 weekly classes I have lost all my baby weight and I’m still going. I’m stronger, have more energy, and am absolutely amazed at how quickly I have seen results.
I’ve typically shied away from studio classes, intimidated that I wasn’t “in-shape” enough or that I would stand out as being clueless, but Bar Method is far from that. It benefits all shapes and sizes and is a lot of fun! It truly is the healthiest addiction out there.
